It’s a new month, which means it’s time for a new monthly agenda to discuss the results of last month, and what’s coming this month.
Regarding what all has been accomplished last month, we can all agree that not a lot happened to the website. I know what I said in April 2020’s agenda, but I may have also underestimated the effects of the quarantine on my mental health, on top of the coursework I still have. I am struggling with finding motivation, and any motivation I do have will have to go to schoolwork first.
The good news is in that regard, the semester will come to an end towards the middle of May. Classes officially end on the 9th, but there will be some finals the week after. I have five different essays to write, a video to create, and a collage to make, but after all of this is done, I will have free time to put towards the website.
Improving the layout of the website is my top priority still, so that is the only thing that I am going to safely say will happen during May 2020. Any content that I may choose to include will just be an added bonus.
Even though content is not my priority for this month, I would like to assure everyone that I have still been working on content. I have made three new podcasts that I have yet to post on the site, but for anyone interested, you can find them on Anchor. The first two is playing through another choose your own adventure game, Runt of the Litter. The third podcast is something new I am hoping to accomplish, which is tips for dungeon masters on how to run Curse of Strahd. It’s going to be a little less formal than my usual podcasts but I still think it is worth a listen.
Speaking of Curse of Strahd, I have been playing through that campaign with a group of friends as my paladin, Darius. It just so happened that Darius has a journal which he has been writing in, which is actually me writing from his perspective about what all has happened in the campaign. I am hoping to publish these journal entries on the site after improving on the layout. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I’m looking forward to sharing that with everyone.
Moving on, there is another, more exciting writing topic I’d like to talk about: my book. I am pleased to announce that the series of The Adventures of the Stylish Simon will start out with the book titled The House of Virgil the Damned. I will make a separate post when the book is published on Amazon. I am very optimistic it will be published soon, as I have met with my cover art artist and we have discussed the cover art.
Finally, I plan on including two videos in the future on this website. The first will be me playing through World of Warcraft’s Iron Man Challenge, which I am finding to be a lot of fun. The second will be my Dungeons and Dragons character creation series, starting out with the barbarian. Both of these projects are from school, so they are either done or close to being done.
I share with you the future of the site to hold myself accountable. I look forward to posting everything here.
Until next time.
