It’s National Novel Writing Month so I’m going to keep this monthly agenda short to get back to writing.
As I’ve said, most of this month is going to be spent on writing an entry for National Novel Writing Month. Despite a small setback, I’ve already written about 2000 words, which is what I typically aim to write for a day when it comes to this competition. I think that once I really get into writing, I’ll be able to breeze through NaNoWriMo no problem.
Let’s talk about the other projects, starting with the podcasts. I intend to catch up with the movies on the backlog for Gettin’ Real with the Reels this month, regardless of how NaNoWriMo goes. Additionally, as it is required as part of a honors contract for a class I am in, I am hoping to publish some podcasts covering the history of Kansas this month as well. So, there is going to be content coming out this month even though I am focused on NaNoWriMo.
Moving on to the bad news, I do not see how I can finish the first episode of the League of Dungeons and Dragons by the 6th. There were delays due to schoolwork, and although the script is done and there’s been some video recording, I’m way behind on that, and again, I want to focus on NaNoWriMo. Thankfully, I found out that Netflix is releasing Arcane in three parts, so if this video doesn’t come out on the 6th, it may come out on the 13th or the 20th. The idea I have right now is that if I can get significantly ahead of writing for NaNoWriMo, I can focus on that project just enough to get it done.
Let’s talk about the plans moving on to December. Schoolwork is a priority and I am a little bit behind on that as well. After that’s all taken care of, I’m going to focus on writing more chapters of Rise of the Adept, which I hope to have published either late spring or early summer of 2022. Finally, there is a minor video project in the works as part as my effort as an author to reach out to different schools about my book. The rough draft of the script is done and I expect to begin filming shortly. It could be a project that comes out this month or it could come out as late as January, but it is coming out.
