The Monthly Agenda (December 2021)

I still can’t believe that the year is almost over. It just went by so fast but it’s time for another monthly agenda to close it out.

For once, I have no bad news, just good news. Let’s start out with the big one. I have successfully completed my project for NaNoWriMo 2021. This is a huge deal for me as I failed to complete it the past two years. Although I won’t be publishing this year’s entry, I think this will serve as inspiration for me to return to writing novels starting next year.

There’s still more good news though. In an earlier post, I admitted that I was having problems recording podcasts and video on my old laptop. I now have a new laptop so that won’t be a problem anymore. I have already checked and Audacity works well enough on it. I will need to test to see how well it records video but I remain optimistic. With this new development, I hope to get back on track with my projects.

To close off this year, I have two goals in mind. First, I want to finish the Journal of Runark. That campaign has been done for months, I have the notes on my computer, I just need to write. Secondly, I want to catch up on the movies for Gettin’ Real with the Reels. I do not want to have a single 2021 movie on my list by the time of New Years.

For those of you who are wondering, I did work on the History of Kansas podcast series. It’s a rough draft right now, and honestly, I feel it will be better as a single podcast, like the History of Podcasting episode I published. I will rework the script to better fit this idea based on what I have so far but that will be a 2022 project.

Although I am using December to catch up on projects, be on the lookout for a sneak peek of Rise of the Adept. I will be posting an unedited chapter from it sometime this month. The chapter’s done, it’s just a matter of timing.

We’re going to finish this year off strong and move onto more projects starting next year.

Until next time.
