We’ve made it through the first month of the year, and with the second month starting, it’s time for another monthly agenda.
We’re going to start off with a recap from last month’s agenda, which had some successes and some disappointments.
Let’s start off with what I couldn’t get done, and what’s happening with that. The League of Dungeons and Dragons was due to premiere early last month, but it did not. Unfortunately, I kept running into different technical difficulties that kept setting me back when it came to recording footage and video editing. I do not intend to drop this project despite this, and intend to finish it, hopefully this month.
But on the plus side, I did come through with some writing entries. Not only did I finally finish writing the next entry for the Journal of Darius Ballester, but I also launched the Journal of Runark. I do hope that these pieces of fiction inspired by my playing of Dungeons and Dragons keep everyone entertained.
Now, let’s discuss projects moving on. Dungeons and Dragons and Warcraft was announced at the start of the year, and despite the setback with the sister series, I am going through with it. However, I will admit that I am behind, and that I may end up delaying the release past the promised date, possibly to March.
I am also disappointed to announce that my plans to get with my brother to continue the Mysteries of Baroque podcast over January fell through. The next time we will see each other is October, so the next update to the podcast will be after that. More information will be provided as we get closer to October.
But there is some good news as well. While I have reached a stopping point with the Journal of Darius Ballester, I am going to continue the Journal of Runark. Additionally, given the success of these entries, I am going to start a third series of writings this month, the Tome of Kalvar Taveras. The Tome of Kalvar Taveras will cover the adventures of Kalvar, a young human wizard venturing into the Undermountain, with a lighter tone compared to the other writing series. I will let everyone know now that I am very excited for writing from Kalvar’s perspective.
And speaking of writing, I am back on campus today, and that I have moved in to the dorms and am expected to be isolated, that I am going to start writing the sequel to House of Virgil more often. Winter break is over, so it’s about time I get back to work as an author.
Finally, it’s almost been a year since I have started Chancethepodcaster.com. For those of you who are expecting an anniversary project, I am just going to say now that I have no plans for it. Not that I do not intend to do anniversary projects in the future, but that technically, I started this website on the leap day, February 29.
Hey, it’s less work for me.
Until next time.
