March is here, meaning it’s time for a new monthly agenda.

I’m pleased to report that the changes to my new writing schedule are a huge success. The next chapter of Rise of the Adept is almost finished. Had February had a few extra days in it, I likely would have been able to finish that chapter. I’m expecting to finish it early this month and to be able to move onto the next chapter as soon as possible.

Gettin’ Real With the Reels will resume this month. I have one more episode planned before the Academy Awards and have already bought my ticket for the Best Picture showcase to prepare to review some of the Best Picture candidates. I’m very excited for what’s to come with Gettin’ Real with the Reels.

February is here and it’s time for another monthly agenda.

Let’s start off with some good news. I’ve recently made some changes to my schedule, giving me more time to focus on Rise of the Adept. Thanks to these changes, I’m pleased to announce that another chapter for Rise of the Adept has been finished. Time will tell if these changes will really help me make more progress on my story but I have a good feeling about it as of now.

Due to the changes in schedule, I hadn’t been able to find a good time to catch up on Gettin’ Real with the Reels but and hoping to get on that later this month. Additionally, I’m currently planning when to review the Best Picture nominees for 2026, which has also impacted the release schedule for Gettin’ Real with the Reels. More details on that will be coming with upcoming episodes.

It’s time to welcome the new year in with another monthly agenda.

Progress on Rise of the Adept continues as planned. Still taking longer than I expected with the current chapter but am still doing what I can to get it written. I’m hoping to make significant progress this month.

Gettin’ Real with the Reels continues on as normal. I’m looking forward to finding time to get more recordings done to upload online.

I’m expecting to start a new semester of classes sometime soon, so please be patient with me as that will likely disrupt progress made on my various projects.

The year is almost over, and to wrap things up, it’s time for another monthly agenda.

So, like before, I hadn’t considered how busy I would be between wrapping up classes and celebrating Thanksgiving with the family. As such, I wasn’t able to meet a lot of my expected goals. I won’t say I’ll be able to make them this month given, again, classes and the holidays, but I’m going to try.

Progress on Rise of the Adept continues at a consistent pace. I’m still working on the current chapter but have high hopes to see where it goes.

The technical difficulties I encountered regarding Gettin’ Real with the Reels has been resolved. I’m hoping to find time to get more recordings out soon enough.

We’re reaching the end of the year and it’s time for another monthly agenda.

Significant progress is being made for Rise of the Adept. While the current chapter I’m working on isn’t finished yet, I’m almost done writing it. To give myself some time to work with it, I’d say it’ll be finished before the end of the year but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if I finished it before the end of the month.

Regarding Gettin’ Real with the Reels, I have ran into an unexpected problem regarding the production side of things. I will need to address this issue before recording can continuing so progress on new episodes may stall. I hope to have this issue solved before the end of the month.

There’s only a couple of months left as we enter October, meaning it’s time for another monthly agenda.

Progress on Rise of the Adept has slowed down a little bit. September was more busy than I imagined but I hope to have free time in the coming weeks to really focus on the current chapter. I’m very excited to see how it turns out and I really want to get it written to find out.

Gettin’ Real with the Reels continues at its typical pace. I’m hoping with more free time, I’ll be able to catch more movies while they’re in theaters, meaning that I can record more episode. Only time will tell if this works out as well as I hope it does.

It’s September and that means it’s time for a new monthly agenda.

So, when I made last month’s agenda, I didn’t consider that the fall semester for classes was starting. Schoolwork is my priority, and while I tried my best to keep up with my other projects, some things may have fallen behind. Fortunately, I continue to adjust to my schedule and should get back into the habit of writing and recording epsiodes.

Rise of the Adept continues at a slow pace. I’m very excited for this chapter, and I hope once I get through the first few pages, I’ll be able to hit my writing stride and get through this chapter before too much time passes.

It took me longer than I would have wanted but Gettin’ with the Reals is back. I was delayed in recording the newest episode due to allergies but have since adjusted to that. It’s just a matter of continuing to find free time to record podcasts. Looking forward to catching up with the movies I fell behind on.

Summer is reaching its end and it’s time for another monthly agenda.

Progress on Rise of the Adept has resumed. As a matter of fact, I’ve started working on not one, but two chapters. This happened after I decided the chapter I had started would be better later off and focused on making a new chapter that would fit better instead.

Regarding Gettin’ Real with the Reels, recording for the next few episodes should start this month as well. Looking forward to some exciting episodes coming up.

Only half a year left and it’s time for another monthly agenda.

Let’s get this out of the way first. Progress on both Rise of the Adept and Gettin’ Real with the Reels came to a complete stop during June due to the intensity of summer classes. I hate that I wasn’t able to focus on other projects during this time but I had to put schoolwork ahead of everything else.

On the bright side, I’m finishing out the last class I’m in, and around the same time, I should be heading down to the beach, where I like to think I get my best writing done. That should give me time to work on Rise of the Adept. As for Gettin’ Real with the Reels, that’ll be up in the air as working on that depends on how fast I can get back into schedule after I get back home.

A plan has been made moving forward and I look forward to seeing how it works.

Year’s almost halfway over and it’s time for another monthly agenda.

So, let’s start off with the bad news. Summer classes have started for me, and as it turns out, a lot of the content is going to be condensed. This means that I will be busy trying to keep up with multiple chapters a week, which will keep me from writing or recording podcasts. This will last until about early July, so I’m expecting that all projects will slow down until then.

But on the bright side, I am pleased to say that I kept busy during the month of May. Another chapter of Rise of the Adept has been completed. I have a lot planned for the next chapter though, so I’m thinking that it might be a while before I finished writing that with classwork likely keeping me busy.

As for Gettin’ Real with the Reels, progress on releasing new episodes did pick up over May. I’m remaining hesitantly optimistic about keeping up with new recordings, especially as we do get into the Summer releases.
