October is here and it’s time for another monthly agenda.

The current chapter of Rise of the Adept is close to being finished. All I need to do to wrap things up is to get another day or two of being able to focus on writing and I’ll be good to move the story ahead.

As for Gettin’ Real with the Reels, the day I had set aside for recording was not the right day as something came up. This has delayed the movie reviews I had planned over the summer for the fall now. It might not be as timely as I would have hoped, but then again, I’ve never been that worried about keeping up given how busy my schedule’s gotten. Hoping to get the episodes recorded this month.

Summer is just about over and it’s time for another monthly agenda.

So, as you may know, Summer is when I’m the most busy. As such, while I was able to continue Rise of the Adept, it wasn’t as much as I had hoped to. Still, I was able to get a big reveal written, and with that out of the way, I’m hoping that it’s easy writing from here on out for the rest of the chapter now that I’m looking to find some more free time.

Gettin’ Real with the Reels had no updates unfortunately due to not finding enough time to record episodes. I have notes prepared for the next four episodes and I’m hoping to knock them all out in one day, maybe even with another movie or two thrown in as well. Only time will tell at this point but believe me when I say I’m trying my hardest.

August is here, summer is almost over, and it’s time for another monthly agenda.

Editing for the current chapter of Rise of the Adept has been finished and I’ve made some progress moving the story along as well. It wasn’t as much progress as I was hoping for but this is going to be one of the more dramatic points of the story. It likely may take me time to see it done just so I can get it how I want it to be.

Gettin’ Real with the Reels is still on a backlog now. I wasn’t able to record episodes before going on vacation, and once I came back, there was a lot of family visiting. Still, this isn’t the first time we’ve had a backlog for Gettin’ Real with the Reels and I hope that I’ll be able to catch up with what I have so far soon.

The year is halfway over and it’s time for another monthly agenda.

So, June kept me very busy, and as such, I wasn’t able to get as much done as I wanted for Rise of the Adept. Editing the current chapter is still on my to-do list and something I hope to finish this month. On the bright side, this is also the month where I go to the beach and I always think I get the best writing done during that time, so I expect to catch up on lost progress soon enough.

Gettin’ Real with the Reels has stalled only because I wasn’t able to find movies to watch and review as an episode. I’ve got two movies lined up to watch over the weekend that I am going to review and hope to record those episodes before I leave for my beach trip.

Summer is coming up and it’s time for what may be the biggest monthly agenda in a long while.

A lot of good news to share this time around. First off, another chapter for Rise of the Adept has been finished. This was a chapter really holding me back from continuing the story, so now that it’s done, I can edit what I had written ahead to reflect the changes made and get back on track this month. Editing is almost done and I hope to get through this next chapter as soon as possible.

Next, my backlog of movies for Gettin’ Real with the Reels has been caught up with. I recorded six episodes over a single day and had them uploaded online for everyone over the course of a week. I’m very pleased to see how that turned out and am going to try to find out what to watch next to keep the progress flowing.

May is here so it’s time for another monthly agenda.

Progress on the current chapter for Rise of the Adept continues at a steady pace. I’m confident that if I can get in a day or two of writing where I’m completely focused on that chapter, I’ll be able to finish the chapter and get back to where I was before. Finding that time is difficult with how busy my schedule tends to be but I hope that I can find that time with this month, and if not then, the next month.

But for good news, Gettin’ Real with the Reels has started its next “season” and is stronger than ever before. I have a few more episodes on my backlog to record and hope to get those out to everyone soon so be on the lookout for that.

A shorter update for this month but that’s all I have to say.

No April Fool’s jokes here, just another monthly agenda.

Starting off with baddish news, but there’s been a delay for Rise of the Adept. While writing the new chapter, I realized that some of the content would be best be used earlier in the story rather than be glossed over where it was now. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a good place to slide the new content into a written chapter, meaning that I had to write a new chapter altogether. Although this does count as a delay, it helps to make the story better in my opinion.

Gettin’ Real with the Reels is going to make its return this month. The delay was because the Best Picture winner wasn’t a movie that I saw during the Best Picture showcase I went to, meaning I had to find time to watch it at home. That’s been taken care of and I hope to have a couple of episodes out this month.

March is here, meaning it’s time for a new monthly agenda.

I’m pleased to report that the changes to my new writing schedule are a huge success. The next chapter of Rise of the Adept is almost finished. Had February had a few extra days in it, I likely would have been able to finish that chapter. I’m expecting to finish it early this month and to be able to move onto the next chapter as soon as possible.

Gettin’ Real With the Reels will resume this month. I have one more episode planned before the Academy Awards and have already bought my ticket for the Best Picture showcase to prepare to review some of the Best Picture candidates. I’m very excited for what’s to come with Gettin’ Real with the Reels.

February is here and it’s time for another monthly agenda.

Let’s start off with some good news. I’ve recently made some changes to my schedule, giving me more time to focus on Rise of the Adept. Thanks to these changes, I’m pleased to announce that another chapter for Rise of the Adept has been finished. Time will tell if these changes will really help me make more progress on my story but I have a good feeling about it as of now.

Due to the changes in schedule, I hadn’t been able to find a good time to catch up on Gettin’ Real with the Reels but and hoping to get on that later this month. Additionally, I’m currently planning when to review the Best Picture nominees for 2026, which has also impacted the release schedule for Gettin’ Real with the Reels. More details on that will be coming with upcoming episodes.

Progress on Rise of the Adept continues as planned. Still taking longer than I expected with the current chapter but am still doing what I can to get it written. I’m hoping to make significant progress this month.

Gettin’ Real with the Reels continues on as normal. I’m looking forward to finding time to get more recordings done to upload online.

I’m expecting to start a new semester of classes sometime soon, so please be patient with me as that will likely disrupt progress made on my various projects.
